On way home engine management light came on and 'antipollution faulty' flashed on the display. As a midi-MPV the Picasso's driving appeal was always going to be limited, after all, this is a vehicle designed to transport people and things rather than set the pulse racing. Currenty there has been 3bottles of dpf cleaner through her and when warmed up I will give her revs in 2nd and 3rd to help clear the dpf. I have a 2007 Citroen Picasso 1.6 Hdi. It starts immediately on the key and will run all day but the idle is rough and the car has reduced power until the revs get up, at which point it takes off like a rocket! I have replaced the turbo, it also has a recent EGR. A software problem could lead to the engine not getting sufficient cooling, leading to the engine overheating. This recall applies to Picassos built between 5 December 2012 and 21 April 2015, . Engine Jerking My C4 jerks at 40+km/hr and at 60+ and 90+ km/hr .After that it runs smooth above 95KM/hr. Well that’s my theory. My local car parts shop and the Citroen and Peugeot dealers all sold the seal! Anyway to change the sensor is a pig.
